Take care of your mouth Steve. From it springs a beautiful thing. Your awesome...and for other church lovers like me, thats not up for debate. Take it easy on yourself.

Think about going to Thailand Steve, airfares will be about $700 and the cost of procedures one third, maybe less. Are you on Facebook? xxx
"he says you dont need gas to clean your teeth
i say hey you gimme the gas
i get the gas"
Hahaha... They gave me gas at my dentist once and I didn't feel any effect from it at all. You must have a better dentist! I agree with Claude in TX; get them fixed as soon as you can. xoxo
teeth up! loved that bit about the real "aussy"pensky...ha ha...gas up!
check it out ..space debris ...underwater eruptions..and when i called the mayan calender people to reorder the number had been disconnected..

So sorry to hear about your teeth (such as they are).
Teeth are one of my best physical features - straight, no cavities, no holes, no root canals. Whew!
But, I'd like 'em to be WHITER! [We're never satisfied, are we?] Dentist told me that some people's teeth are stained from the inside so the whiteners don't work, but I'm not giving up.
Anyway, it's worth the expense/time/pain, etc. to get your teeth repaired. You need 'em!
MAKE IT TO MICHIGAN PLEASE. THIS TIME I'M BUYING A LOT OF TICKETS FOR NONE BELIEVERS. MJ FRIMODIG
Who is "they"?
My heart goes out to you SK. Thanks to my ex-husband and his flying fists I have ongoing dental problems; but count your blessings, at least the orthodontist can sort your problems. Here in wintery Blighty the equivalent cost for the treatment you need is $4,078 if you have it done privately!!! Having said that, thanks to our NHS system it would be classed as a course of treatment and that way works out to a mere$359.
The solution? You come over to England for a sabbatical (in theory); do some gigs (of course) to show you are here for work; stay long enough enjoy the beautiful country-side, rain (haha!) and culture to feed you creativity, by which time you’ll have been here long enough to qualify for NHS!! (See SK, you’re not the only one with a wild imagination at times).
took me ages to twig the Supremes. I adore Motown and Ross' voice just sounded a little thin and weedy, like a wet tissue breaking on the front of a speeding train.
Then I realised that she's not meant to be part of the yawp the way Levi Stubbs or David Ruffin is. She comes at you from behind and sticks a silvery thread up your spine.
The breakthrough was listening to I'm Gonna Make You Love Me, the way she says 'trick' in 'every trick in the book'. Crackles my heart like cellophane every time.
There ain't no power like the redemptive rejuvenating power of soul music.
Hope to see you in Europe soonly, man. Love you.
I hate the dentist. I despise the dentist. how could you even make yourself get out of the bed to go see the dentist?
State in April/ May? great to hear. come on over and play as many shows as you want.

I hear the echoing song of a lone bird this dull morning. It's rained so much last night that everything feels soggy and wrinkled . The ever expanding creative vistas are appearing before you. Taking gentle care of yourself is part of the unfolding of the greater self. That magic voice of yours resides within those pearly gates.
I've never had a cavity or broken a bone. Astrology says it's because I have Sun conjunct Saturn. My dentist says the same things every time. "Keep doing whatever you do. And sometimes... I have never seen anyone your age with teeth this healthy". We all have our strengths and weaknesses though. $1700? That's rough. I thought you Aussies had socialized medicine?
supremes ok.. only 'cause barry gordy was pumpin' diana ross much prefer Martha and the Vandelas.

wonderfully constructed..very moreish just like nitrousoxide.
The first time they tried to gas me, I didn't go under. Two hours pass & they send me home under the care of my mum. I didn't remember anything once we left the carpark, but I apparently ate a meal & spent a penny at the local Maid Rite restaurant.
Nowadays, the night before my teeth get crowned, I take a prescribed amount of Ambien, followed by some more on the morning of the appointment. It's worked out pretty good. I've got two more crowning appointments to plan for (8 crowns in total). Costs a bit more because they have to create custom-made ceramic fillings to replace the thin hollowed-out interiors of the teeth, and then plaster it up. The ceramic is supposed to give some much-needed structural support.
I love Motown. The Supremes, The Temptations, and -- especially -- Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops, and Marvin Gaye.
'i am He who am the only one!'
buy it folks!
first track is called 'killer'
geezz you make i laugh last couple 'o blogs steve.....

Looking very forward to seeing you guys this year.
I love that you demanded the gas for a cleaning. You're my hero! :D
I've been listening to a lot of this electric lounge stuff like Thievery Corporation. Pretty cool.
I hope you come near Atlanta when you tour the states. That's where I live.

William Seward Burroughs II (February 5, 1914 – August 2, 1997; pronounced /ˈbʌroʊz/) was an American novelist, essayist, social critic, painter and spoken word performer. Much of Burroughs's work is semi-autobiographical, drawn from his experiences as an opiate addict, a condition that marked the last fifty years of his life. A primary member of the Beat Generation, he was an avant-garde author who affected popular culture as well as literature. In 1975, he was elected to the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters.

He became a member of a chaos magic organization, the Illuminates of Thanateros, in 1993, a group whose very existence would not have been possible without his works.[41]
During his later years in Kansas, Burroughs also developed a painting technique whereby he created abstract compositions by placing spray paint cans in front of, and some distance from, blank canvasses, and then shooting at the paint cans with a shotgun. These splattered canvasses were shown in a Chicago gallery in the late 1980s and a New York City gallery in the early 1990s.
Burroughs's final filmed performance was in the video for "Last Night on Earth" by Irish rock band U2, filmed in Kansas City, Missouri, directed by Richie Smyth and also featuring Sophie Dahl.[42]
[edit]Death
Burroughs died in Lawrence, at 6:50 p.m. on August 2, 1997 from complications of a heart attack he had suffered the previous day.[8] He was interred in the family plot in Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri,[43] with a marker bearing his full name and the epitaph "American Writer." The grave lies to the right of the white granite obelisk of William Seward Burroughs I (1857-1898).
[edit]After his death
Since 1997, several posthumous collections of Burroughs's work have been published. A few months after his death, a collection of writings spanning his entire career, Word Virus, was published (according to the book's introduction, Burroughs himself approved its contents prior to his death)[16]. Aside from numerous previously released pieces, Word Virus also included one of the few surviving fragments of And the Hippos Were Boiled in Their Tanks, an unpublished novel by Burroughs and Kerouac. A collection of journal entries written during the final months of Burroughs's life was published as the book Last Words in 2000. Publication of a memoir by Burroughs entitled Evil River by Viking Press has been delayed several times; after initially being announced for a 2005 release, Web retailers such as Amazon.com indicated a 2007 release, complete with an ISBN number (ISBN 0670813516), but no such release has, to date, occurred.[44] In December 2007, Ohio State University Press released Everything Lost: The Latin American Journals of William S. Burroughs. Edited by Oliver Harris, the book contains transcriptions of journal entries made by Burroughs during the time of composing Queer and The Yage Letters.[45] In addition, special editions of The Yage Letters, Naked Lunch and Junkie/Junky have been published in recent years, all containing additional material and essays on the works.
The complete Kerouac/Burroughs manuscript And the Hippos Were Boiled in Their Tanks was published for the first time in November 2008.[46]

Oy, SK! 1700 AUSD for a crown is waaaay too much. I would recommend calling around for a better price, if you can find the time. I should think you would find them for nearly half that.
"It's Time To Break Down" (Supremes) is a masterpiece.
Thanks so much, Freddie!! We're wrapping up the NZ leg and heading to Sydney in a few days.
Can't wait to see the show!!!
