Man, that's a whole lotta estrogen in one place. A lesser man would languish in it, but it looks like you flourish in it, monsieur Kilbey.

That's good news for you sk, don't worry if baby sk seems a little grumpy at first, remember she has travelled a LONG, LONG way to get back to daddy, I'm sure there'll be lots of big hugs and kisses from her (and the other of course!)

Soon you'll be up to your eyeballs in panties again!

My Abby B arrives back from his two month stay in India just before my birthday. He had his birthday while he was there, so we'll celebrate together!

His uncle, Sonu, the Indian version of Elvis....you'd think he has enough ego to block my sun. But no, such a humbly guy he is.

It will be so wonderful to have all your girls back in your arms again. They will be so glad to be home.

Enjoy "Neverwhere" - I loved it. I think you'd like "Stardust" too - lovely faery tale, I was so sad when it ended - I wanted it to last forever....

Big smiles, Kate.

I'd love to happen upon Steve Kilbey sitting in the arrivals lounge at Sydney Airport reading a book! Do you still get the odd fan coming up to you now and then when you're out in public?

"Excuse me, aren't you. . . .?"

Don't worry...we won't tell her what you've been doing while she has been away...our little secret...

a friend of mine has five daughters....whole
lotta estrogen goin on...I grew up with only women in the home....I think THAT kinda thing has MORE impact that what fucking moronic sign you are born under...I'm a cancer for fuck sake...if I believed that deeply in what astrological sign I was
and what it meant about me as a person...if i put that much thought into it.. I'd be dead or in an asylum...."oh...what sign are you? ...."I'm a libra, and you?" ..."I'm a cancer"..."Oh"....
Geez killa...environment has alot more to do with it than our "engineers of society" give credit..

sorry for digressing in to a topic of several posts ago...but i'm drunk...

What are you talking about?

Before you know it you'll be faced with a flush of Jacks, come a-courtin'

Plenty of other blokes will be involved in this...

Hello all Kilbey fans...

I've come to eat ya!

Hope everyone had a good vacation and got home ok. I have to say I think verdelay is correct about the influx of blokes. I think come July you are going to need a big stick to chase them all off! Good luck!

Hi sk,

Hope your hand's better. Just wanted to say that I love Mimesis. What a masterpiece. Space rock at its finest. Well done everyone involved and you speak so eloquently. Is that how you talk to the band during argy bargy?

Whatever the new secret project is, if it's anything like M we're in for a treat.

Look after yourself

P.S.
Great artwork too.

So who edits/censors the blog? SK or JK? Does SK actually read all the comments? Someone recently said JK does the deleting.

Back to universal love. I love the vegetarian rock stars who love the entire animal kingdom. Thanks Steve Kilbey, Paul McCartney, Morrissey, Moby, Chrissie Hynde, Jeff Beck, Joan Jett, Tom Scholz, Geezer Butler, Daniel Johns (I think) and Annie Haslam. There are many others but I accentuate these people for their unconditional love for nonhuman animals. Steve's love for his kids is wonderful. I dig my cat ! Ted Nugent (Kill It And Grill It) is an ......!

Yes, Daniel Johns is a vegan, Brien!

Anon @ 11.46am, if you mean who deletes, "deleted by author" comments, it's the WRITER OF THE COMMENT that has the option to delete what they have written after posting their comment, not sk or jk! Just get over it!!

the hellbound heart
should be heaven
to love twice
as much as most people do
find your way into the deep sea
by the pale moon beams
awash in the bliss
drowning is quite a way to go
I remember this beautiful agony
in dreams
pain of what you think you'll lose
release into the
drink in the endlessness
of how deep your loves
and how vast your burning heart
quenched by the thirst
for more
can you have both
can you choose one
did your heart ask you
or does it just Love
as it was made to
did it chose both
before you even met
the eyes of your Lovers
?

Well sk I hope you are having a relaxing time with the family, hope they're getting over their jetlag. Bet the doodles have excitedly been telling you all the news and the bumper bringing things out to show you.

When is this blog gonna stop? Or have you changed your mind about the May date? Anyway we have been lucky. Maybe you can get the other guys to take over and give you a rest, guest blogsters Marty, Peter, Tim.

Have a good weekend.
