What a great concert in Malmo last night, the best Church show ever! Kate Bush songs and Ungurded Moment in Swedish! Thank you and come back soon!

Great to hear you back in the swing. Yesterday was a good day for yours truly as well: Two Church boots landed in my post from all the way from Down Undah.

hey steve, life's not all bad is it!
logical positivisim, that's the secret.
well, one of 'em anyway.
the olde ticker feels a bit strange
where i had a couple of implants in it, but it seems to be working ok!
nothing will deter me from my mission: get mega-huge record deal and usurp even the time being himself.
uh-oh, fitfull episode over, er, about that chair?
yer still the grooviest olde roca
about!
cheers for the thoughts bro.
se ya soon,
luv,

Would that all concerts could be that fulfilling, eh?
Only with thirty times the ticket sales.
Then again, would y'get so blase about it that the existential ennui would creep in and such successes would no longer be fulfilling?
Y'canna win, man!

Hi SK.
Sounds like a brilliant day. I hope you treat us to at least 2 encores in Brighton and London. I will be begging for 'em!!

Glad to hear the swedish gig was a huge rockin success. your post today radiates tranquility, contentedness. we're happy for ya. you're still a long way from being an olde washed up rocker, you know.

haven't had time to be happy to be back, but thanks for asking :-) Was given just over a week to write this desert feature, to distill my time with the bedouin down to some sorta poetry, to capture their essence. Surprisingly enough, the ole muse kicks in when yer under the gun. Mimesis helped too. I think you'll like this one. Oh, and check yer email when you get a chance, i fired off a couple cool camel pics. I'm telling ya, you've gotta try this sorta thing at least once. You could craft an entire album with the images it inspires. :-)

Here's hoping you guys rock copenhagen!

Someone once told me "if your kids think you're cool, you're doing something wrong."

That true?

The Church is much better now than they were in 1986. If the music press had bothered to cover the Church since 1992, they would be International superstars. An inadvertant but fantastic blend of Pink Floyd, U2, Radiohead and solo David Gilmour and even a bit of Syd Barrett.

The ups and downs of a world famous rocker - read it first hand - a biography as it happens. Don't get any better than this. Thanks for great entertainment!

very happy to hear you happy
and all ya all seem to have caught some sweet
jittery scent
spring has a funny way
of being
able to elevate the spirit
(does that mean that red bull and jager really do give you wings?)
I can't resist....;)
through the heady perfume of flowering things
clovers with nectar and 4 leaves
the promise of summer
comes
on bare feet with a tambourine
beloved ones
friends and family
they lift us higher
kind kindred refreshing the energy
to rock on with all of your
passion
gifts of music
played from the hearts very soul
brings it on home
